The difference between a quote and a plan
A quote is a single number. A treatment plan is a document that explains where that number comes from, procedure by procedure, material by material, and visit by visit. When you are comparing clinics from a distance, this is the single most revealing thing you can ask for.
Procedures itemised, not bundled
A proper plan lists each procedure individually, tooth by tooth where relevant, rather than a vague phrase like "full mouth restoration." This lets you understand exactly what is being proposed and compare it meaningfully against another clinic's plan.
Named materials and brands
The plan should name the exact implant system, ceramic material or other product proposed for your case, not a generic description like "premium implant" or "best ceramic." Named materials can be checked, researched and compared; vague ones cannot.
A realistic timeline
Your plan should state how many visits are needed, how many days each visit involves, and where healing time sits in between. Implants, in particular, need a period of several months to fuse with the bone, and a plan that skips over this reality is not being honest with you.
Guarantees in writing
Look for a written treatment guarantee from the clinic itself, alongside the manufacturer's warranty terms on any implants. A verbal promise does not survive the flight home, so insist on seeing the terms on paper before you commit to anything.
